Brow Service overview

What Is Cosmetic Tattooing?

Permanent makeup, semi-permanent makeup, microblading, and cosmetic tattooing are synonymous terms for tattooing focused on cosmetic enhancements. These procedures involve implanting pigments into the dermis to create long-lasting enhancements that look natural or mimic traditional makeup.

At Flamingo Room, our “less is best” philosophy means subtle, natural-looking cosmetic tattoos that age gracefully. We specialize in eyebrow, eyeliner, and lip services, strategically layering pigment over two sessions to enhance your unique beauty—because true confidence doesn’t need a heavy hand.

While often referred to as ‘permanent,’ cosmetic tattoos naturally fade over time. This isn’t a flaw—it’s a feature! It means your enhancements can evolve with you, always looking their best.

What affects fading?
• Sun exposure
• Age
• Medications
• Your body’s immune response
• Skincare routine

Revitalize Your Brows

Fuller, balanced, and smudge-free.

Restore

Whether it’s due to over-plucking, hair loss from illness, or natural thinning with age, brow enhancement can redefine your shape and restore color to your brows. This treatment rejuvenates your overall look, giving you the confidence that comes with beautifully framed features.

Convenient and Time-Saving

Wake up and go! No more mismatched brows, smudging, or time-wasted.

Microblading and Nano

Microblading and Nano are tattooing methods used to replicate the appearance of natural brow hair. At Flamingo Room, we specialize in the Nano method for creating precise hair strokes, utilizing a hand-held machine known for its gentle application compared to microblading.

Here’s why Nano brows stand out:

Less Skin Trauma: While microblading cuts the skin, potentially causing scarring, nano strokes utilizes a needle method that minimizes skin damage and ensures a more comfortable experience.

Versatility: Nano is appropriate for most skin types opposed to microblading which in not appropriate for mature, thick, or oily skin.

At Flamingo Room, our Nano brow styles usually include some shading to produce the most natural-looking results. Exceptions might be for those with a significant amount of natural brow hair.

Limitations of Hair Strokes

  • Hair strokes require more frequent touch-ups than shaded brows and may necessitate transitioning to a shaded look due to pigment blurring over time.

  • This technique is not recommended for individuals over 50, those with problematic skin such as acne or rosacea, or those with minimal natural brow hair.

Shading Techniques

Shaded Brow Styles: Ombré & Powder Brows

Want effortless, natural-looking brows without the daily effort?

Shaded brows might be your perfect match. This technique softly enhances your shape and density without looking heavy or overdone— this is my most requested style at Flamingo Room.

  • Versatile: Suits all ages and skin types.
  • Longevity: Last 1-5 years.
  • Fading: More uniform fade than Nano strokes.
  • Natural-looking: Creates a soft, powdery finish.
  • Low-maintenance.

Grey/White/Light Blond Hair Considerations The tattooed pigment sits beneath your skin, so it won’t affect your natural hair color. Some clients opt to tint or dye their brow hairs for a more harmonious look with their tattoo. This choice is entirely personal and can be made after your treatment.

Combo Brow:
Nano Hair Strokes & Shading

Ombré Brow:
Minimal shading for a natural look.

Powder Brow:
Saturated shading for a bold look.
